Dōbutsu no oisha-san is a comedy manga about veterinary students which ran in Hakusensha's Hana to Yume magazine between 1987 and 1993. The author, Sasaki Noriko, is known for basing her storylines on real-life events. These few pages comically depict the reaction corporate recruiters have to Hishinuma Seiko, a female PhD student.
